Introduction

Managing projects effectively requires a wide of skills—planning, organisation, communication, motivating the team, understanding stakeholders. The list seems to be never ending this five day training course covers all of the critical skills required of managers. It is based on a simple project cycle of Project Selection, Initiation, Planning, Execution and Close. This simple project cycle is reinforced by sessions on Generic Project Skills and Tools on day four, and on day five, consideration of the people dimension both in terms of the team and the project stakeholders. A single case study will flow through the five days of training .

At the end of the five day programme delegates will:
